Fit to drive?

For many years it has been recognised that a high degree of fitness is essential to sporting performance. However in motor racing, until relatively recently, this has been somewhat ignored. For competitive drivers improved physical conditioning enables greater consistency of lap times, increased tolerance of extreme environments and heightened concentration levels. From experience votwo have identified the following areas of human performance critical to motor-sport:
