The votwo South Cerney Classic Triathlon. Now in its 2nd year has changed location to Keynes Water Park. This suburb new venue offers the triathletes a safe environment to race in. The Bike course still takes part on the relatively flat, quiet roads around South Cerney. The run is laps of the Keynes Water park lakes. New for 2009 the triathlons are held over a sprint distance and a standard distance. |

| Terrain | The area of South Cerney is renowned for its quiet country lanes. These are relatively flat and produce fast times for experienced athletes and good introduction for first time racers. The waters of Keynes Country Park Lake are very clean and clear. The lake is well sheltered and flat in most wind conditions. The run is a mixture of off road tracks and paths with a small section on tarmac.
All 3 disciplines for the sprint and standard distance race follow the same course. The sprint race does one lap of each course and the Standard race does two laps of each course.
The swim is a 750 meter lap. Mass floating start.
Expect fast bike times from the flat country lanes course. Each major junction is marshaled and the whole course is well signed.
The run course is laps of the Keynes Country Park lakes. In parts on tarmac and in other parts on paths. Flat as a pancake so get those racing shoes on!

| Team/Relay | £75 per team of 3.
Enter the sprint or the standard race as a team of 3. 1 person completes a discipline each then 'tags' there next team mate in the transition area. Idea for any group of friends or work mates that want to complete a triathlon as a team challenge or as a charity money raising event.

| Spectators | Keynes Water park is a excellent location to relax in whilst your athlete is racing around. Cafe and visitor centre will be open.
The Mount Everest Challenge. Whilst the triathlon is taking place there is also another endurance challenge going on at the Ariel Adventure Centre, right next to transition. A 29 foot pole is being climbed a 1000 times in 24 hours.

| Other Details | Events refund policy: Any cancelation received by email to events@votwo.co.uk more than 14 days prior to the event date will receive a 50% refund. Only emailed cancelations are acceptable. Cancelations made in the last 14 days will not be eligible for any refund.
In the highly unlikely case that an event is cancelled at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. extreme weather, Foot and Mouth or similar) the event will be re-scheduled for the next available date and all entry fees carried over to that date.
